Hardscapes

Everybody sells the pretty part of a paver job. The part that matters is underneath. We excavate, pack a real stone base, screed the sand, lay your pattern, lock the edges, and sweep in polymeric sand so nothing moves. That's how a paver driveway or patio stays flat instead of rocking loose after the first wet winter.

A backyard with nowhere to put the table and the grill is just a yard. We build concrete and paver patios, outdoor kitchens, and steps, sized for how you'll actually use the space and sloped so the rain runs toward the grass instead of the back door. It turns the backyard into the place everybody ends up at the party.

You want the look of stone or brick without the stone and brick price. Stamped, colored, and exposed aggregate concrete gets you there. You pick the pattern and color from real samples, we pour and finish it, and there are no surprises when the forms come off.

A slope you can't use is wasted land. A retaining wall turns it into a yard, a parking spot, or a driveway. We build block, poured concrete, and masonry walls on a proper footing with drainage stone and a drain pipe behind them, because a wall without drainage is a wall that leans in a few years. We don't skip that part.

Brick and block done right still looks sharp twenty years later. We lay walls, columns, mailbox stands, borders, and veneer level and plumb with clean joints, the old way. Good masonry outlasts everything around it.

Nobody wants a brand new patio surrounded by a mud pit. When we finish the paving or hardscape, we grade the ground around it, bring the topsoil back, and get sod or seed down. The job is done when we leave, and you don't have to hire a second crew to clean up after the first.

A pool deck that burns your feet or sends somebody sliding is a bad pool deck. We pour ours with a finish that stays cool and grippy, slope them so the water runs away from the pool and the house, and match them to the rest of the yard. Nobody slips, nobody hops across hot concrete.
